The Associate Compensation Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day activities for Premise’s compensation administration. 


This is a full time, remote Associate Compensation Analyst role.


What You'll Do

Maintains Premise’s centralized job description library and works with leaders to create and update job descriptions as necessary.

Partners with business leaders to create and price new jobs. 

Maintains, uses, and participates in compensation surveys and related invoice processing.

Creates and delivers accurate bonus files to payroll in accordance with established timelines.

Conducts weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits to ensure compliance with FLSA, state wage laws, and internal pay policies (e.g., overtime, pay type, minimum wage, exemption status).

Collaborates with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to recommend competitive salary offers for non-executive new hires and support the recruiting process.

Responds to team member inquiries regarding compensation programs and processes in a timely and effective manner.

Performs other compensation-related duties as needed.


What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in HR, finance, mathematics or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

Zero (0) to two (2) years of hands-on related experience in the corporate human resources department.

Prior compensation experience is a plus.

Strong communication and collaboration skills across HR teams and leadership

Basic understanding of employment laws (e.g., FLSA, EEO) and HR principles

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Positive attitude and willingness to learn 

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $26.44 - $31.25 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. 


For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0692 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
