The AVP, Clinical Applications & Delivery (CAD) is responsible for the oversight of various internal clinical applications which may include occupational health, primary care, dental, vision, labs, radiology, pharmacy, fitness and other clinical related applications plus the training of clinical applications. The AVP, Clinical Applications CAD also partners with teams such as Operations, Implementations, Client Reporting, IT, CPM, Billing & Coding, and Medical Leadership to design and implement innovative IT solutions.
This is a full time, hybrid Associate Vice President of Clinical Applications & Delivery role located in Brentwood, TN.
What You'll Do
•Plans, coordinates, and supervises activities related to the design, development, implementation of Premise Health clinical applications development and analysis.
•Manages multiple teams and leaders focused on supporting a variety of products and/or lines of businesses.
•Directs, guides, and reviews project requests, timelines, and cost.
•Develops, distributes, supports, enforces, and integrates best practices and standards across Clinical Applications within the organization.
•Creates functional strategies and objectives.
•Develops budgets, policies, procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
•Supports and promotes corporate values, goals and mission in all circumstances.
•Collaborates effectively with stakeholders, other teams and their members, leadership and field operations.
•Manages conflict independently seeking positive outcomes; supports same expectation with direct reports.
•Develops annual operating expense and capital budgets
•Monitors and approves expenditures
•Sets department quality objectives and benchmarks
•Identifies and leads organizational and procedural opportunities
•Prioritizes technological initiatives
•Promotes strategic growth plans
•Maintains clinical application plans by partnering with other departments, third-party service providers, and IT vendors
•Performs other duties as assigned by leader
What You'll Bring
•Master’s degree preferred
•Deep knowledge of Clinical Application workflow, configuration, training, implementation, and support
•12+ years relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare
•5+ years leading Clinical Applications or related team(s)
•Proven track record of managing small-to-medium, diverse teams to success using strategic thought, conflict management tools, empowerment and delegation, identifying, nurturing and supporting key contributors across the enterprise, team motivation and celebration
•Proven track record of recognizing areas for corrective action and handling those with respect for the team member while protecting the human resource policies of the company
•Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience
•Experience supervising large projects, vendor relationships, and budget
•Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
•Innovative leader with strategic vision
•Ability to manage relationships and projects, develop strategies, and solve problems
•Ability to build trust, credibility, and consensus with constituents across the organization
•Ability to create and maintain a culture of service excellence
