About the role:
The AVP, Clinical Operations Support (COS) oversees the support and execution of site clinical operations, the primary care and occupational health products, patient safety and quality programs, and team member engagement. This position is responsible for planning and directing activities to drive a high level of patient safety, maintain clinical excellence, and align with overall enterprise clinical strategy. This position directs and develops high performing teams to deliver on established objectives, goals, strategies and measures. The AVP, COS collaborates with our Provider Affairs and Clinical Quality teams to execute short- and long-term strategies to improve care delivery, ensuring effective communication with site leaders and to other internal teams.
Essential Functions:
• Clinical Operations team leader. Leads Regional Clinical Operations Managers, supporting their efforts to ensure site level regulatory, patient safety, and clinical quality programs are well understood and executed effectively.
•Maintains a focus on ensuring effective site team communication, education, execution, and compliance with Premise Health policies, procedures, and quality programs.
•Principal working level liaison to the Clinical Quality team
•Functions as a key member of the Medical Operations Leadership team
•Cultivates multiple relationships with other corporate teams, including but not limited to Growth Strategy, Operations, Sales, and IT
•Drives process improvement, standardization, and change management initiatives
Job Requirements:
• Licensed or Certified in a health care field (Nursing, Physician Assistant, etc)
•Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred
•Board Certification preferred
•12+ years’ experience in a health care or health care business environment or related industry, managing others
•Healthcare experience in a medical, pharmacy, wellness, fitness or other similar environment
•Experience working in a virtual environment preferred.
Preferred Experience:
• Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills; Ability to communicate complex principles and procedures in simple layman’s language
•Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
•Demonstrated ability to manage a broad range of responsibilities and communicate effectively across multiple functional areas
•Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing virtual staff
•Excellent time management and organization skills.
•Excellent people management, strategy and execution skills
•Extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, quality standards, and site operations
•Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory environment relative to onsite operations. Knowledge of current industry and legal issues
•Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, Medicare and/or clinical standards of practice
•Ability to create process flows to improve efficiency and adherence to corporate policies and government regulations

While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Washington and New York State compensation is $140,000 - $179,000 with eligible bonus opportunity.
