The Business Analytics Consultant for Employer-Based Advanced Primary Care bridges the gap between digital healthcare products, employer benefits strategy, financial value realization, and clinical outcomes. In this strategic individual contributor role, you will act as the principal architect of our product data framework without direct reports. You will partner with cross functional teams to identify opportunity white space for prospective clients, demonstrate product ROI to employer clients. quantify financial impact, optimize the patient care journey using data storytelling to drive engagement, preventive care utilization, and executive level decision making.
This is a Full Time, remote, Business Analytics Consultant role.
What You'll Do
Product ROI & Financial Impact Strategy:
- Define and analyze metrics that demonstrate product value, opportunity analysis, cost savings, medical cost trend reduction, and financial ROI for prospective clients and employer clients.
- Build financial models that connect product engagement to downstream cost-of-care outcomes.
Requirements Gathering:
- Interview clinical operations, product, finance, and client success teams to translate complex care delivery workflows into precise technical analytics specifications.
Executive Storytelling & Presentations:
- Deliver high impact, narrative driven presentations to internal executives and employer benefits buyers.
- Transform complex data into clear, compelling stories that influence decision making and highlight clinical + financial outcomes.
Patient Journey Optimization:
- Analyze digital touchpoints and clinic utilization data to identify friction points and increase patient engagement.
Data Governance:
- Align with standardized healthcare metrics (e.g., chronic disease management tracking, preventive care compliance) ensuring strict HIPAA compliance
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Data Science, Health Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics
- 3+ years specifically within employer sponsored health, advanced primary care, digital health, or healthcare finance and sales
- Deep experience building scalable, client facing dashboards using Omni to enable self service analytics.
- Proven experience autonomously leading enterprise scale data projects from requirements gathering to final executive presentation using modern data stack pipelines.
- Experience partnering with finance teams to quantify product value, design opportunity analysis and ROI models.
- Ability to craft executive ready narratives, weaving together clinical, operational, and financial insights into persuasive stories
- Strong understanding of employer healthcare finance, including: medical cost trend analysis, cost of care modeling, ROI frameworks for employer-sponsored benefits, and value based care economics
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytics through clear, compelling storytelling tailored to executive and buyer audiences
- Expert SQL for querying complex healthcare databases and Python for data manipulation, cohort tracking, and predictive modeling
- Mastery of Lucid Chart to map employer to clinic workflows, patient data pipelines, and care journeys
- Strong understanding of employer sponsored health benefits, B2B2C health products, claims data, and HIPAA regulations

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0692 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
