Applications supported by the Business Applications team include solutions for credentialing, contract management, Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, as well as enterprise tools like online conferencing, Adobe, and the end user facing components of the Microsoft platform. The Business Applications Manager will be responsible for a subset of these applications through both direct involvement and the effective management of their team. Business Applications covers a full scope of responsibilities with all covered applications including system selection, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these applications.
This is a Full Time, hybrid, Business Applications Manager role located in Brentwood, TN.
What You'll Do
- Manage the team that supports the various applications and users of those applications
- Assist department leadership in developing a well-documented roadmap, goals, and objectives.
- Assist departments with the selection of new applications
- Lead technology implementations in partnership with the department and project management team
- Partner with various departments to help identify and implement process improvements related to the applications being used
- Optimize functionality within the applications
- Advise on best practices for data integrity
- Work with various departments to coordinate system upgrades or scheduled activities
- Manage integrations between all relevant internal business systems
- Assure that change management processes are followed with all managed applications
- Follow organizational processes to ensure that all work is properly prioritized, approved, and documented
- Provide support for complex issues
- Other tasks, as needed by the company
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Application support experience
- Previous management experience
- Previous exposure and/or participation with application implementation projects preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented and organized with ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks/requests
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of project management styles and tools such as project plans and Kanban boards
