About the role: The Manager, End User Platform Systems, leads the Premise Endpoint Engineering Solutions Team. The Manager is accountable for endpoint solutions and products, including desktops, laptops, and tablets. This includes peripherals, operating systems, and core builds. The role partners effectively with other Premise leadership, inside and outside of IT, building close relationships, to execute on high-level initiatives, meeting company goals. The Manager works closely with the Tech Lead to drive team strategy and position the Endpoint Engineering Solutions Team at the forefront of best practices for endpoint service delivery. This role reports to the Director, End User Platform Systems. 


Essential Functions:

  • Accountable for the lifecycle of endpoint hardware at health centers, corporate, regional, and home offices.
  • Accountable for the testing, configuration, and implementation of new IT endpoint hardware and software into the Premise environment.
  • Ensuring the deployment of software updates, patches, and new applications to endpoints to keep them up-to-date and secure.
  • Oversees the receiving of end user requests via support desk system and the response / resolution of tasks within set SLA’s (service level agreements). Ensures updates and closure of tasks when work is completed.
  • Manages relationships with vendors related to endpoint hardware and the services that support the management of endpoint hardware. 
  • Drives the automation of tasks and encourages the identification of efficiencies in existing and new processes.  
  • Monitors productivity and conducts annual performance reviews. Provides regular feedback and fosters an effective work environment. 
  • Responsible for regular team meetings and touch points with team members. Empowers team member growth and encourages use of available company resources for training and skills enhancement.  
  • Defines team goals in alignment with department goals. Tracks them accordingly and ensures yearly completion.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ Senior or Lead experience.
  • 7+ years’ experience in providing IT hardware and software support in an enterprise environment.


Preferred Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android), and endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, Jamf). 
  • Advanced knowledge of working in an Active Directory environment, with GPO. CIS familiarity a plus. 
  • Good organization skills. 
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python a plus. 
  • Must have good customer service skills and maintain good relations with customers (both internal and external)
  • Clear and innovative thinker, with excellent collaboration and communications skills.
