The Director of Analytics serves as the primary strategic interface between Premise Health’s Growth & Development business unit and the Data & Insights organization. This leader translates business needs into clear product roadmaps, designs intuitive analytics experiences/tools, and drives insight generation that leads to measurable value creation. They will oversee a team responsible for discovering opportunities to improve member engagement, optimize operational performance, and drive revenue growth through new product adoption, cross-sell, and client expansion. This role blends analytics product ownership, prescriptive analytics, and user-experience design to elevate how Premise uses data to make decisions and deliver value to clients.
This is a full time, remote Director of Analytics role.
What You'll Do
•Act as the voice of the customer to the Data & Analytics organization, translating business needs from the Growth & Development organization into prioritized roadmaps and clear requirements.
•Define the analytics product vision, roadmap, and delivery timelines for Growth & Development BI solutions and prescriptive analytics capabilities.
•Facilitate cross-functional alignment with Population Health, Operations, Finance, Product, and Analytics Engineering to ensure analytics outputs meet shared strategic goals.
•Create Figma wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to guide the design and functionality of dashboards, scorecards, and analytics applications.
•Partner closely with the BI and Analytics Engineering teams to ensure delivery meets business use cases, narrative design principles, and user experience standards.
•Champion a modern, intuitive, narrative-driven analytics experience aligned with STARR/WIIFM story telling frameworks
•Lead a prescriptive analytics team focused on identifying opportunities for value creation across the Premise portfolio—such as improving member engagement, patient outcomes, operational efficiency, or revenue growth.
•Develop and maintain an opportunity valuation framework to size potential impact, prioritize initiatives, and track execution/outcomes through a governance process.
•Manage an iterative design lifecycle of Premise reporting products focused on empowering the growth & development organization.
•Monitor reporting usage, adoption trends, and satisfaction across internal and client audiences.
•Gather and synthesize feedback to drive iterative improvements and increase the value, interpretability, and shareability of reporting assets.
•Collaborate deeply with BI, Analytics Engineering, Data Governance, Product, and Client Success teams to ensure aligned and consistent reporting across the enterprise.
•Ensure that analytics products reflect a unified source of truth and support transparent, reliable decision-making.
•Act as a thought partner to business leaders, helping shape strategy through insights and data-driven recommendations.
•Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and senior analysts responsible for research, prescriptive insight generation, and reporting design.
•Build analytical skill sets, business acumen, and a culture of curiosity, empathy, and outcome-driven thinking.
What You'll Bring
•Bachelor’s degree
•Master’s Degree in Analytics, Data Science, or Related Field
•10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, product analytics, or a related field; 4–6+ years leadership experience.
•Strong understanding of healthcare, population health, or clinical operations preferred.
•Comfortable translating business problems into technical requirements and analytics solutions.
•Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) and ability to create wireframes in Figma or similar tools.
•Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executives and non-technical stakeholders.
•Proven success managing analytics teams, prioritizing work, and driving results in a matrixed environment.
•Demonstrated ability to design user-friendly reporting and analytics experiences.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $145,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an Annual Performance Incentive that is a percentage of base salary and awarded based upon individual annual evaluation and company financial performance.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will be included in the company's Open Time Off plan and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
