The Director of Business Analytics is a strategic, results-oriented leader responsible for guiding a team that delivers high-quality insights into improved business performance. As a key partner to Operations and Account Development, this role translates business priorities into actionable analytics strategies that drive results such as ROI improvement, line of service expansions, engagement growth, client retention, and operational efficiencies. The Director ensures their team is focused on delivering insights that are scalable, prescriptive, and aligned to enterprise and client needs.
This is a full time, remote Director of Business Analytics role.
What You'll Do
•Lead the development and delivery of high-quality analytics, reporting, and insights that support business and client decision-making
•Translate business priorities into analytics strategies aligned to key objectives (e.g., ROI, growth, engagement)
•Partner with stakeholders to define new reporting requirements and develop tools such as dashboards, root cause analysis, value sizings, and packaged insights.
•Identify opportunities to standardize and scale insights, reporting, and methodologies across clients
•Monitor reporting utilization / chatbot prompts and partner with teams to improve adoption and close gaps through certified metrics and reports
•Ensure data integrity and consistency by deploying and enforcing quality assurance practices within your team
•Represent analytics in high priority client-facing discussions as needed, delivering clear insights, recommendations, and consultation.
•Develop team members and establish standards around prescriptive storytelling, consultative analytics, and packaging of insights, ensuring outputs are clear, accurate, aligned to priorities, filtering out low-value insights.
•Serve as a subject matter expert across key services, products, and methodologies (e.g., OHM, Pharmacy, Epic, ROI)
•Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders – forming close partnerships and serving as a thought-leader for their respective geographies/clients
•Manage projects, priorities, and resources to ensure timely, high-quality delivery and communicate progress, risks, and key updates effectively
•Maintain knowledge of evolving products, services, and analytics capabilities
What You'll Bring
•Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
•10+ years in analytics, including leadership of strategic and consultative engagements
•Experience translating business needs into actionable insights and recommendations
•Healthcare experience preferred, including EMR and/or claims data
•Strong business acumen with ability to connect analytics to operational and financial outcomes
•Consultative mindset with ability to influence decision-making
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
•Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
•Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage competing priorities
•High attention to detail and commitment to data quality

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $115,000.00 - $133,900.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an Annual Performance Incentive that is a percentage of base salary and awarded based upon individual annual evaluation and company financial performance.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will be included in the company's Open Time Off plan and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
