The Director of Operations Education serves as the partner within Operations, delivery of structured education and communications that translate business strategy into practical, field-ready capabilities. 

This role is responsible for shaping and advancing operations communication, culture, and education strategies that drive clarity, consistency, and performance across Operations. The Director leads the evolution of Foundations programming, ensuring teams are equipped to execute with confidence, alignment, and operational excellence. 

This individual partners closely with Operations, Medical Operations, Learning & Development and cross-functional leaders to deliver scalable programs that reinforce operations goals, objectives, workflows, changes and foundational knowledge.  


This is a full time, remote Director of Operations Education role.


What You'll Do

Support and lead the educational strategy for operations through communications and facilitated sessions to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and business goals  

Oversee the delivery of Foundations programming, acting as the operations SME and delivering content as necessary.  

Translate complex business strategies, operational priorities, and clinical initiatives into clear, actionable communication and education for frontline teams and leaders  

Partner with L&D to provide operations specific leadership development initiatives that strengthen performance management, client relationship building, decision-making, and execution through the operations team. 

Establish and evolve communication frameworks that drive clarity, reinforce expectations, and support adoption of key operations initiatives  

Deliver foundational knowledge, reinforce standards, and improve consistency across sites and regions  

Ensure delivery of engaging, high-impact information using blended approaches, including instructor-led, virtual, and microlearning formats  

Partner with senior leaders and subject matter experts to communicate changes that impact operations team members.  

Define and implement measurement strategies to evaluate effectiveness, adoption, and impact of communication and education initiatives of operations communications and initiatives.  

Monitor trends, feedback, and operational data to continuously refine programs and improve field effectiveness  

Act as a strategic advisor to the various departments on best practices for communication pathways for operations team members.,  

Lead and develop team members within the Communications, Culture & Education function  


What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree required  

10+ years of experience in health care operations, clinical operations, or other relevant work experience 

Experience leading communications and large-scale programs that impact frontline and operations audiences  

Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Learning and Development and/or Medical Operations  

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable messaging  

Proven ability to  deliver communications that drive performance and operational consistency  

Strong facilitation and executive presence, with experience engaging senior leaders and frontline teams  

Ability to connect communication and education strategies to measurable business outcomes  

Strong strategic thinking and execution skills  

Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills  

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an Annual Performance Incentive that is a percentage of base salary and awarded based upon individual annual evaluation and company financial performance.


For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will be included in the company's Open Time Off plan and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
