The Manager of Enterprise Project Management will be responsible for servant-leading a team of project management professionals who are highly skilled in multiple areas including (but not limited to) Strategic Portfolio, multi-disciplined Program and Project Management (e.g., Agile, Lean, Traditional, Hybrid, etc.). This shared services enterprise portfolio, program and project management team will be responsible for facilitating the strategic alignment, planning, prioritization and value realization of the enterprise strategic goals and objectives. The manager will work with other teams and departments throughout the organization to support needs and objectives as identified by the business, while also uncovering new transformative, process improvement, and delivery opportunities and initiatives by forming partnerships with other leaders. This manager will additionally be responsible for the continued growth and training of the Enterprise Project Management team. This manager will be looked at to foster consensus amongst other leaders and teams, forging both strategic and tactical direction and momentum as a result.
This is a full time, remote Enterprise Project Management Manger role.
What You'll Do
•Responsible for overseeing the work of all Enterprise project management team members, and thus must take ownership of the resulting quality and success of each project
•70% of time allocated to managing programs/projects and 30% of time allocated to management of a 2-4 person project management team
•Works with other leaders to identify project opportunities
•Acts as servant-leader for Enterprise Project Management team
•Responsible for career planning, professional development, and supervision of Enterprise Project Management team members
•Assists with development and adherence of departmental budget
•Assists with development of and responsible for progress monitoring of departmental goals
•Assists with coordinating the team roadmap
•Fosters a growth mentality amongst team members
•Ensures continual improvement in team practices
•Acts as an Enterprise Project Management change agent throughout the organization
•Partners with other leaders to identify, develop, and drive transformative initiatives
•Has an elevated level of integrity, fostering and instilling trust
•Supports adaptive and flexible approaches, open to a ‘not one size fits all’ mindset
•Thinks holistically and has a systems-based end-to-end approach to make connections and see opportunities
•Provides oversight and guidance for streamlined value delivery project and process management approaches
•Ensure the project standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project’s development and execution
•Assesses business processes to identify improvements, opportunities and solutions meeting the needs of the colleagues and clients
•Owns projects through to successful completion
•Researches, interviews, and documents key business and technical requirements
•Consults with stakeholders and clients to define requirements and clearly articulate business situations that require technical solutions
•Identifies, documents, and communicates key risks for product and project approaches
•Creating reports to measure the effective output of projects and teams
•Providing fully transparent project reporting to ensure efforts and delivery are meeting business value
•Ensuring key stakeholders are made aware of key information related to current or future program, project, and associated development activity
•Applies proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate processes through careful analysis to maximize the benefit of business investments in Enterprise initiatives
What You'll Bring
•Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
•PMP certification required
•Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
•8+ years of relevant work experience
•Experience in a Project Management, Program Management, or Portfolio Management leadership role
•Experience with Organizational Change Management
•Experience in traditional and non-traditional project management methodologies
•Proven experience and record of accomplishment of successfully completing assignments within the deadline, scope, and budget; Managing complex processes
•Healthcare/IT industry background strongly preferred
•Proven ability to enable team to deliver business value by removing obstacles, managing dependencies, setting priorities, and working with stakeholders on behalf of team
•Proven ability taking a concept from idea to completion
•Proven ability to work with other teams in managing complex processes
•Demonstrates the ability to ‘think outside the box’ while identifying potential problems and developing creative solutions
•Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously including large, complex business and IT projects/programs
•Advanced understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, and perform resource allocations
•Proven ability to manage multiple project managers or team members at one time
•Adapts approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations, projects, and stakeholder needs
•Strong ability to lead teams towards common goals
•Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and strong negotiation skills
•Strong facilitation skills
•Willingness to challenge assumptions and identify the business drivers that support the enterprise strategic goals
•Ability to work and operate effectively with uncertainty of change
•Desire for continual personal growth and improvement
•Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills
•Able to work autonomously, be accountable, and take initiative
•Highly skilled in MS Office Suite, ServiceNow, MS Project, video conferencing tools (Zoom, etc.), and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, etc.)

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $118,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an Annual Performance Incentive that is a percentage of base salary and awarded based upon individual annual evaluation and company financial performance.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will be included in the company's Open Time Off plan and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
