The Manager, Health Strategy leads a team responsible for translating healthcare claims data into clear, actionable insights that drive client performance, retention, and growth. In addition to people leadership and delivery oversight, this role provides direct Health Strategy coverage for a small set of priority accounts, serving as a senior strategic resource alongside Account Development and Operations partners.


The Manager ensures consistent delivery of high‑quality, claims‑based reporting and recommendations, while also modeling strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and cross‑functional partnership. As a leader within Centralized Growth, this role balances hands‑on strategic engagement with scalable team leadership and operational rigor.


This is a full time, hybrid Health Strategy Manager role located in Brentwood, TN.


What You'll Do

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Health Strategy analysts and associates responsible for delivering claims‑based reporting and strategic insights.

Plan, prioritize, and manage team workloads to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of Annual Reports, Quarterly Strategy Reports, and other strategic analyses.

Serve as the primary or senior Health Strategy partner for a defined set of priority accounts, owning or co‑owning core deliverables and modeling best practices.

Interpret and guide analysis of medical and pharmacy claims data to identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and value drivers for clients.

Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that support client performance, retention, and growth conversations.

Review, coach, and elevate team deliverables to ensure analytical rigor, clear storytelling, and strong strategic framing.

Partner closely with Account Development, Operations, Population Health Insights, Product, and Data & Analytics teams to align on priorities, timelines, and dependencies.

Act as a point of escalation for delivery risks, data gaps, or cross‑functional issues impacting Health Strategy work, ensuring issues are surfaced early and resolved effectively.

Drive continuous improvement in workflows, templates, review processes, and documentation to improve consistency, efficiency, and scalability.

Communicate proactively with Enterprise Growth leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders regarding insights, risks, timelines, and emerging opportunities.

Contribute to internal education and enablement efforts that increase understanding of Health Strategy’s role, value, and appropriate use cases.


What You'll Bring

BA/BS required (Masters Degree preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare analytics, business, data analytics, or a related field.

5–8 years of experience in healthcare analytics, strategy, consulting, or population health.

Prior people leadership or demonstrated team‑lead experience.

Strong experience working with medical and/or pharmacy claims data.

Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.

Advanced degree (MPH, MBA, MS, or similar).

Experience supporting client‑facing teams in a growth, consulting, or account‑based environment.

Familiarity with healthcare cost drivers, utilization management, and population health strategies.

Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop others, recognize individual strengths, and encourage ownership of professional growth.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to use data to assess performance and develop actionable insights for operational improvement and growth.

Broad knowledge of the healthcare industry, population health, public health administration, or related fields.

Ability to navigate complexity, manage change, and create structure in ambiguous environments within a large organization.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

Proven ability to balance people leadership with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Strong business acumen and relationship‑building skills; effective collaborator across teams and disciplines.

Proactive, organized, and outcome‑oriented, with a focus on high‑impact work.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI) a plus.
