The Business Analyst & Cash Applications Manager is responsible for Revenue Cycle reporting, trend analysis, risk assessment, workflow designs, documentation of processes and procedures, month end close, payment reconciliation, credit balance resolution, posting of payments, adjustments, and denials into practice management systems.
This is a Full Time, remote Manager of Business Analysts and Cash role.
What You'll Do
- Provides leadership for departmental services through collaboration with customers, associates, physicians, clinics and other internal departments and services, vendors, etc. Scope of job duties include and are not limited to:
- Supervises assigned staff and manages workload and performance
- Participates in new service/business line research and assessment
- Oversees effort to expand or enhance existing reporting methodologies in support of reimbursement, efficiencies or improvements in data quality
- Oversees the development & distribution of RCM reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs) and performance guarantees; responsible for ensuring data is validated prior to distribution
- Helps identify additional opportunities to improve key performance metrics and drive increased efficiency and effectiveness of the RCM team. Identification of resource needs, tools, policies, metrics, process changes, training needs, and communication structures
- Apply statistical knowledge and data modeling to provide current and high-quality information and recommendations
- Ensures timely accurate posting, balancing, documentation and reconciliation of all payments; Oversight of lockbox receipts
- Monitors daily cash reconciliation reports of payments posted and ensures that all batches posted daily correspond to amounts deposited; assures that variances are corrected in a timely manner; works closely with the finance and client billing teams
- Manages the process of researching, analyzing and resolving credit balances
- Analyzes data/trends to recommend process/procedure updates in order to enhance performance to better meet future customer requirements, as well as to determine the best use of resources
- Manage revenue cycle management vendor relationships
- Works closely with other Revenue Cycle managers and senior leadership
- Provide training, direction and communication of expectations, and ongoing coaching and mentoring to ensure continuous development. Review team and individual performance, provide feedback and address performance issues
- Participate in HR related activities such as hiring
- May require other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, finance, computer science or related field preferred or experience in lieu of degree
- A minimum of 5 years Revenue Cycle Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ creating reports and analyzing revenue cycle data/trends, required
- A minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $72,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually / per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an Annual Performance Incentive that is a percentage of base salary and awarded based upon individual annual evaluation and company financial performance.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will be included in the company's Open Time Off plan and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
