The Manager of RCM Account Managers is a strategic leadership role responsible for leading, guiding, and developing a team of Account Managers to deliver exceptional Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services across multiple regions and a broad client base. This position focuses on driving performance, accountability, and client satisfaction through effective leadership, coaching, and collaboration. The Manager serves as a key partner to internal stakeholders—including Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), Associate Vice Presidents (AVPs), and Directors of Client Operations (DCOs)—to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. By fostering a high-performing team culture and promoting scalable best practices, the Manager plays a critical role in optimizing financial outcomes and enhancing the overall client experience by recommending revenue cycle best practices and being influential in discussions for adopting scalable practices within clinic operations.


This is a full time, remote Regional Accounts Manager role.


What You'll Do

Provides strategic oversight of RCM services across multiple clients within a defined geographic region.

Serves as a key leader in managing and strengthening the RCM component of client relationships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.

Leads a diverse team of RCM Account Managers, Accounts Receivable Specialists, and Billing Specialists, with responsibility for hiring, performance management, and professional development in collaboration with the Director, AVP, and VP of RCM.

Drives a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through effective coaching, feedback, and development planning.

Designs and implements scalable workflows and process improvements to enhance revenue integrity and operational efficiency.

Oversees quality assurance audits and ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Partners with Operations, IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and external vendors to proactively resolve RCM-related challenges and implement scalable solutions.

Facilitates cross-departmental communication to ensure alignment on processes, performance expectations, and strategic initiatives.

Promotes knowledge sharing and best practices across the RCM department and operational teams.

Develops and implements process improvements and drives action plans to enhance RCM performance, client satisfaction, and compliance.

Collaborates with RCM and Operational leadership to address systemic issues and drive operational efficiency.

Provides regular reporting (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc) with analysis and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.

Evaluates RCM staffing models and recommends strategic adjustments to optimize performance and resource allocation.

Acts as the primary RCM contact for clients, supporting retention and growth through proactive relationship management and strategic guidance.

Identifies risks and opportunities for improvement, working closely with internal teams to address them before they impact performance.

Represents RCM in client and payer meetings, committees, and task forces to support broader organizational goals and initiatives.

Advises on regulatory, billing, and compliance matters in consultation with Medical, Legal, and Compliance departments.

Leads or contributes to strategic projects and other initiatives assigned.


What You'll Bring

BA/BS degree - Business or Healthcare, or equivalent work experience.

7+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, or client services.

Proven success in managing client relationships and delivering measurable results.

Experience leading or mentoring teams is strongly preferred.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive decisions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in RCM systems and reporting tools.

Team leadership and development that fosters a high performing, collaborative team culture.

Revenue Cycle expertise: ability to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Cross functional collaboration with the ability to influence and lead discussions with internal and external stakeholders.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $70,000.00 - $76,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an Annual Performance Incentive that is a percentage of base salary and awarded based upon individual annual evaluation and company financial performance.


For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will be included in the company's Open Time Off plan and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
