This position will support an assigned region and have accountability for many different functions of financial analysis such as pricing, budgeting, reporting, contract management, and interact with many levels of the organization while supporting the Finance Leadership in a team environment.


This is a full time, onsite Senior Finance Analyst role located in Brentwood, TN.


What You'll Do

Budgets Management for assigned region

Create annual budget projections

Monthly analysis of performance to budget

Monitor and adjust budget forecasts to align with actual performance

Support Finance Manager to achieve growth projections for the assigned region

Accountable for applying sufficient margins to cost proposals to ensure future profitability

Maintain appropriate benchmarks (internal and external) for Line of Service to assist in cost proposals

Responsible for all feasibility proposals for new clients or new services for existing clients

Execute Return On Investment (ROI) analysis

Detailed claims data analysis for all lines of service offered

Lead meetings with internal partners to gather data and present results

Product Development Analysis

Contract management

Ensure favorable contract terms for new business and renewals

Measure performance criteria as required

Perform all financial analysis for assigned region with the help of internal partners

Develops specific account knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and actual performance to assist internal partners in developing and enhancing account strategies, pricing alternatives and contract language.

Develop and analyze financial and operational metrics scorecard

Improve profitability

Performance incentives

Increase fees

Reduce non billable expenses

Increase total revenues

Cross sell product pricings

Product development pricing

Interact with accounting and other internal partners to understand and communicate metrics to assigned region

Special projects as needed for Finance Manager and VP of Finance


What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree – Accounting or Finance or related field or equivalent work experience.

3 – 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a financial or data analysis position

Healthcare experience preferred

Knowledge of systems and reports to secure reliable data needed to create pricing scenarios ensuring they are complete in accordance with defined service levels in order to meet internal and external customer requests.

Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, PowerPoint, and advanced skill level in Excel) and preferably some SQL experience

Previous experience reviewing work of others

Presenting to senior leadership

Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills

Experience using business analytical skills including facilitating requirements sessions and documenting activity workflows and business requirements
