About the role: Responsible for providing implementation subject matter expertise for new health centers and expansion of services for multi-lines of service. Provides development, refinement, and execution of detailed project plans, including tactical coordination of health center set up, participant flow, coordination of credentialing and licensing activities, and ensuring the implementation and maintenance of appropriate and correct clinical procedures. Provides subject matter expertise and consultative guidance for health specialties while implementing detailed, robust and repeatable activities to standardize health center operational processes.


Essential Functions:

  • Accountable for executing the PH best practices. processes, policies, procedures to efficiently and effectively implement new Health Centers and Expansion of services.  
  • Provides guidance and communication to ensure knowledge transfer and best-practice sharing to new Health Centers in support of operational goals and objectives.  
  • Leads a formal transition process from the Implementation Team to Operations, related to clinical and administrative operations.  
  • Participates, actively in the development of a working health center model to determine the scope of work to be performed, staffing model, and the implementation budget. May participate in strategic planning session in order to effectively utilize resources of the entire team. May participate in finalist presentations as requested.  
  • Collaborates with the Project Manager (PM) to prepare the project plan according to the scope of work for contract services. Participates in site assessments and gap analysis and provide recommendations for action plans where change or improvement is needed.  
  • Facilitates or participates in Internal and External Project meetings in preparation for implementation.  
  • Acts as a SME (subject matter expert) in the preparation, implementation, follow-up and completion of all tasks in Project Plan, as needed, on implementations that may be complicated in nature or have multiple lines of service.  
  • Monitors the status, assigns action items and proactively identifies issues and roadblocks.  
  • Conducts or participates in conference calls on a regular basis providing virtual leadership in the implementation planning process and effectively communicates weekly project status and timeline updates.  
  • Coordinates, facilitates, trains, orients, or presents segments of the orientation process for new site implementations and additional hire orientation.  
  • Works with HR, and Training & Development to create and update training materials for on-going clinical development of Health Center colleagues, clinical operations processes and colleague on-boarding.  
  • May update the training and orientation materials for new site implementations.  
  • Provides consultative guidance and perspective to clients, for issue related to medical specialty, operational process or compliance concerns. Serves as a consultant to the Regional VP (RVP) Operations and assigned Director Site Operations (DSO) on medical, operations process. related to provision of clinical services and delivery of services.  
  • Collaborates with Health Center site staff on issues related to patient optimization and clinical services as requested by the RVP or DSO  
  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and fiscal outcomes of site implementations.  
  • Responsibilities might include coordinating the activities of Premise Health employees, the implementation team, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.  
  • Consults with Medical, Legal or Compliance departments regarding regulations, practices act, practice law, certification requirements.  


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree preferred.  
  • 10 years of the experience in a Health related field.  
  • 5 years in worksite healthcare setting. Previous Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.  
  • Proven experience partnering with internal functional departments in leading successful implementations.  
  • Prior project management or process management required.  
  • Experience working on developing RFP and feasibility models and participating in finalist presentations is a plus.  
  • Training experience.  
  • Experience working in a virtual environment preferred.  


Preferred Experience:

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent presentation skills, confident in all settings with individuals at all levels of the organization both internal and external.  
  • Excellent articulation skills and ability to communicate complex health/medical principles and procedures in simple layman’s language.  
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis.  
  • Functional use of Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs, specifically Electronic Medical Record (EMR etc.)  
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets) preferred.  
  • Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, rearranging, hiding and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view and/or running a slide show) preferred.  
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions) preferred.

For individuals living in California, Colorado, Illinois, Washington; as well as, for individuals living in or reporting to New York State only, Premise Health is required to include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Illinois, Washington, and New York compensation is $95,000 - $110,500 with eligible bonus opportunity.
