About the role:

The VP of Clinical Operations Support works collaboratively with other Medical Operations leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, patient safety, provider support, and clinical governance. This is accomplished through the development and delivery of clear communication with field and corporate teams and the leadership of specific field support teams.


Job Requirements: 

Accountable for ensuring clinical operations support is effectively delivered to field team leaders through standardized processes, supporting compliance with Premise Health policies, procedures, and processes across the organization

Establishes and executes the strategy for providing effective clinical operations support, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practice sharing to health centers in support of organization goals and objectives, and supporting site compliance with government regulations.

Accountable for ensuring regulatory inquiry processes are efficient and effective

Accountable for ensuring effective provider dispensing support

Owns communication content development, delivery, and coordination for Medical Operations, including clinical updates, RFP responses, and other internal and external clinically focused communications

Establishes and utilizes communication mechanisms to deliver consistent and timely communication of corporate initiatives, directives, best practices, regulatory and medical research updates

Leads, motivates, trains and inspires effective performance of teams in a virtual environment

Focuses on high level medical, clinical operations, compliance, safety, regulatory, and quality assurance measures and best practices

Other projects as required to address specific Medical Operations needs


Education:

Bachelor's degree required, Master’s or Doctorate preferred

Licensed as an RN, NP, or PA required

CPHQ certification preferred


Experience:

10 years of experience practicing as a licensed health care provider in a primary care and/or occupational health environment

10 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work

10 years of experience designing and executing quality and process improvement programs

5 years of experience managing departmental expenses and budgets


Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex health, medical and clinical operations principles and procedures in simple language

Ability to create process flows to improve efficiency and adherence to corporate policies and government regulations

Ability to lead a high functioning team, prioritizing organizational goals

Functional use of Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs

For individuals living in California, Colorado, Illinois, Washington; as well as, for individuals living in or reporting to New York State only, Premise Health is required to  include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Washington, and New York compensation is $160,000 - $185,000. Please note, this is a general guideline and your experience qualifications, geographic location, and other factors will be taken into consideration.
