As a Full Time Behavioral Health Team Lead, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Detroit, MI. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday hybrid position. Candidates must reside in the Detroit area.
What You'll Do
- Provide clinical leadership and support to Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health staff, including chart reviews, input for performance appraisals, hiring and staff development
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in interviews and contribute to training, education and development of behavioral health staff
- Manage case load, maintain accurate documentation, and engage clients in personal and social goal setting, treatment planning, and community resources as needed
- Provides psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families
- Apply evidence-based intervention within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS
- Enters data into patient’s chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study
- Licensed as a mental health clinicians as per state requirements: examples include Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- LMSW is not accepted across states
- For NY ONLY, LCSW, LMHC-D and LMFT-D are accepted
- Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS-care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire
OR
- PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology
- Licensed in the state in which patients will be seen.
- Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Experience:
- 5 years’ of experience in the field or in a related area
- Prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc
- Crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting
- Experience identifying, preventing, and treating of suicidal behaviors
- Patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources
- Previous clinical experience in integrated behavioral health settings preferred
