As a Full Time Dental Hygienist Supervisor, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Greer, SC.
Schedule
- 38 hours per week
- Tuesday/Wednesday 6:45a - 5:15p, Thursday/Friday 6:45a - 4:15p
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care to patients as assigned, using established dental hygienist procedures.
- Perform routine treatment procedures, such as cleaning, polishing, x-rays, application of sealants and fluorides, and related procedures.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, keep recare lists appropriate to the need of the individual patient, and work with the Registrars to schedule patients according to these needs.
- Assess dental condition and needs of patient, use patient screening procedures, to include medical history review, dental charting, and periodontal charting.
- Maintain patients’ dental records, documents dental history or chief complaint.
- Perform patient triage and initiate patient care as appropriate for walk-in patients.
- Collaborate with Site Dental Director to provide leadership to dental assistants and/or dental hygienists
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of dental assistants and/or dental hygienists, including interviewing candidates and training new team members
- Assess, manage, and evaluate the performance and development of dental assistants and/or dental hygienists
- May develop, implement, and evaluate health center policies, goals, services, and programs
- May require other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Must be a graduate from an accredited program of Dental Hygiene in accordance with Dental State Board guidelines
- State Dental Hygiene License
- Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
