Paramedic or AEMT
Requisition Number: 38915 Job Location: Huntsville, AlabamaAs a Full Time Paramedic or AEMT, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Huntsville, AL.

- Assesses nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance
- Administers initial treatment at emergency scene and takes and records patient's vital signs
- Initiates intravenous fluids to administer medication or drug cardiac monitoring
- Administers injections of medications and drugs
- Communicates with physician and other medical personnel in person and by radio-telephone
- Keeps current on treatment techniques, protocol changes, material, and equipment
- Prepares required reports and maintains records of activities
- Cleans assigned emergency vehicle
- Conducts safety inspections, requisitions and restocks supplies, material, and equipment
- May require other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from an accredited Paramedic training program,
- Current Paramedic Certification as defined within the state in which work will be performed
- Current ACLS certification
- At least three years’ experience as an EMT-P with an ambulance/EMS service
