As a Full Advanced Care Technician, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Clermont, FL. The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday 7:00a - 4:00p. 


  • Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends. Join a close-knit, two-person clinic team providing care to county employees, law enforcement, and their families in a patient-focused environment
  • Put your phlebotomy skills to work every day while assisting with rooming, labs, point-of-care testing, drug screens, pre-employment exams, and Epic documentation. Enjoy variety without the fast-paced demands of a high-volume clinic. 
  • Grow with a brand-new clinic location. Start at the temporary Leesburg site before transitioning to the new Clermont wellness center, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional care and building strong patient relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height).
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments.
  • Administers medication including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations, which may vary based on ordering/supervising provider type.
  • Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.

What You'll Bring

  • National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not accepted.
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
  • Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
