As a Full Time Senior Fitness Center Manager, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in San Antonio, TX. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

As a Full Time Senior Fitness Center Manager, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in San Antonio, TX. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
What You'll Do
- Build and develop a multi-functional team with diverse abilities to execute on contractual deliverables and stated annual goals.
- Guide and support staff/team member development to increase team member retention and team member job satisfaction
- Compile multi-site reporting related to membership activity, programs, fee for service offerings and budget data.
- Conduct annual site audit for all locations
- Ensure consistency and quality in the delivery of the program across all locations.
- Model and orchestrate the delivery of excellent customer service to all participants and to our client partner.
- Develop a strong partnership with and understand the goals and objectives that our key client partners have for the fitness center program,
- Oversee the development of all aspects of the program including but not limited to the group exercise program, the personal training program, the internship program, member recruitment and retention, fitness center marketing and non-member program outreach.
- Lead team and one-on-one meetings to engage the fitness center team and remain focused on the achievement of account goals, site goals and individual goals.
- Design and deliver a physical activity and wellness program plan that is aligned with the strategic goals of both Premise Health and our client partner. Programs may include motivational programs, health promotion activities, screenings, recreational events, etc.
- Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with direct reports, key client contacts and supervisor
- Conduct an annual member satisfaction survey and develop a plan for continuous improvement
- Deliver fitness services which include; teaching group exercise classes, conducting fitness assessments and writing exercise prescriptions.
- Address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution
- May require other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Master’s degree exercise science or a closely related field is preferred
- Personal Training certification from nationally recognized, accredited organization (e.g. ACSM, NASM, NSCA etc.) required within 6 months of hire
- Current certification in CPR/AED (hands on program required) and First Aid required
- Group Exercise Primary certification from nationally recognized organization (e.g. AFFA, ACE, IDEA) is preferred
- Advanced fitness certification(s) (FMS, Exercise is Medicine, Corrective Specialist, etc.) preferred.
- 5+ years fitness industry experience
- 2+ years of corporate fitness experience
- 3+ years of fitness center management experience
