Supervisor, Behavioral Health
Requisition Number: 35544 Job Location: San Antonio, TexasAs a Full Time Supervisor, Behavioral Health, you'll provide care to client employees on the AT&T campus located in San Antonio, TX, operated by Premise Health. In addition to providing clinical care, this role serves as a site-level Wellbeing Ambassador, promoting a proactive culture of mental health and holistic wellbeing. You will lead brief on-site engagements activities, help reduce stigma surrounding mental illness, connect employees to appropriate AT&T resources, and collaborate with AT&T Benefits as a member of the Premise Health team to deliver data-informed, measurable wellbeing initiatives.
The scheduled hours are 32 hours per week: M-TH 8am-430pm. No Fridays!
What You’ll Do
- Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being
- Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families
- Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal and social development
- Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records
- Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS
- Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify or improve behavior
- Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes
- Participate in clinical care team activities, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals
- Lead ongoing wellbeing events and brief educational touchpoints
- Promote psychologically safe, stigma-free access to care and resources
- Build referral pathways and warm handoffs across AT&T Benefit services
- Enters data into patient’s chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study
- Licensed mental health clinicians including: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire
- 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Must have prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc.
- Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting
- Experience identifying, preventing, and treating of suicidal behaviors
- Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources
- Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred
